Anomos
will give a five-day workshop at the end of which there will be
a presentation open to public.
The workshop is about developing
modules that bring gesture and video around the theme of the
body as landscape and landscape as the body. To imagine the surface
of the body as valleys traversed by movements, to imagine the
shots like looks pointed at the body: What can be the relations
between the body and landscape in different videographic approaches?
The direct usage of the
mini security cameras, shooting and editing, shooting with classical
editing constitute approaches that allow to construct a relation
between image and physical presence, to experiment within the
relation of the body and landscape.
The
videographic construction, the use of different types of editing,
and the co-presence of the body and the realtime processing will
give the participants the possibility to discover a web of practices
as well as different theoretical approaches. The objective is
to explore the relation between the videography and the presence
of the gesture in dance.
